Training: Demystifying Data

April 8 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Curious about how data works and how it relates to your own work as a public servant?

Led by Alex Chen, Senior Statistics Advisor with the Government of Ontario, this training workshop will introduce participants to working with data in a government environment. We’ll cover general best practices, tools and techniques related to data management, visualization and privacy, and discuss relevant examples for public servants new to data science or those looking for a refresher to level up their skills.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:

– Be able to cite general best practices in data science and government examples
– Be familiar with what data experts do on a high-level and how your work impacts theirs
– Know how to take further steps to continue your learning

➡️ Government members can RSVP here.
